Knitting till the words come home

Sometimes writing a novel feels an awful lot like waiting. And what does any sane person do while waiting?

Sigh. I know.

It’s the words. I’m waiting for the words.

Meanwhile, I’ve been doing a lot of knitting.

I retired early and moved to a new community. I blog about my adventures as I explore a new lifestyle. I write about quilting, knitting and needlework, about learning to sew my own garments, adventures in the kitchen and in the garden, dancing, hiking, yoga...life is my playground!

  1. Knitting is a good way to get those creative juices going in your head and you end up with a concrete item as well.

    1. Thank, Kathy – you’re absolutely right. Creativity is creativity is creativity. I really believe that it channels around from one area to another. 🙂 In fact, today I sat down and actually found a few of those words!

    1. Thank you Susan. It’s working. Slowly but surely. I actually got a few of those words out and down on paper this afternoon! 😉

    1. Ah, Cynde. What would I do without Sammy? And his groomer. No way I’m doing that again…it’s worth every penny I pay to have it done professionally! lol!

I'd love to hear your thoughts!
